APPEARANCE Natasha stands at about 5'3" and has a lithe, athletic build. She has green eyes and red hair that currently has blond tips toward the ends. It currently falls midway down her back, but she frequently wears it held back from her face with braids or in a ponytail to keep it out of her way.

CLOTHING When not working, Natasha tends to go for comfort first. Durability is often a must, considering her lifestyle, but she's also got a fondness for soft, comfortable textures and layers that can be added or removed as needed. She tends to favor soothing and often muted earth tones or dark colors, but if she's there to make an impact, she doesn't shy away from bold colors or more provocative styles. Depending on the attention she wants to draw, she's a master at adapting for whatever scene she needs to make.

While in Thorne, she accommodates their sense of fashion for the most part, but she does incorporate pants as often as possible, even if it is occasionally scandalous for her to do so. Usually, it's not when she's making a statement in public, however, but working on her own on some task or researching. Or practicing/exercising/sparring. Pockets are a must, even in her dresses. She's also likely carrying multiple weapons hidden on her person at all times. Don't ask where she got them. Or where she has them all hiding.

In the Horizon, she dresses much like she often would in downtime back home. Jeans or leggings, slouchy sweaters or hoodies on cooler days and t-shirts/tanks on warmer ones. She's rarely seen in anything resembling her tac-suits unless there's considerable cause.

DEMEANOR Natasha can be a hard person to get a read on because so often, you only see what she allows you to see. A master of her own emotions, she typically keeps her thoughts to herself unless it suits her purposes to do otherwise. On top of that, she's a consummate actress and isn't above using every trick in the book to get what she wants accomplished. She's shown convincingly portraying friendly and flirtatious, timid, vulnerable, and scared - not to mention mimicking and taking on the demeanors of others she might be impersonating.

She's a level-headed, strong-willed, and independent woman who comes off as more serious and thoughtful but often has a very sarcastic sense of humor - especially around those she's comfortable with. She's got an easy grace about her movements, watchful and alert, and there's a competence and confidence to her even when she's not entirely certain of herself.

AURAL Despite being of Russian origin, you can rarely tell from how Natasha speaks, other than a giveaway of a few words here and there. She was integrated into America as a young child undercover and since then has learned a multitude of languages as well as spent the better part of two decades now speaking English as her primary language. Being a person who blends into her surroundings with near-perfect skill, her mastery of languages and being able to sound like a native of them is a must.

OLFACTORY This can change a lot depending on her whims but when she's not disguising it, the most common scents associated with her are hints of warm chocolate and vanilla, something rich but occasionally mixed with the crisp sting of mint. Also occasionally in the mix, one might catch hints of roses, gunpowder, or coffee, depending on what she's been doing.

FIGHTER While she is not super-powered like many of her teammates, Natasha has honed everything about herself into becoming the perfect weapon. She’s mastered karate, judo, aikido, savate, boxing, lucha-libre style wrestling and multiple styles of kung fu. Combined with her strength, speed, and agility, this makes her deadly in close combat. She is an Olympic-class athlete, gymnast, acrobat, and aerialist capable of many difficult feats. She’s a deadly accurate marksman, skilled in sharpshooting and knife throwing.

AGENT Natasha is a dangerous secret agent trained in espionage, stealth, disguise, infiltration, interrogation, and demolitions. Her talents and years of experience enabled her to reach a high rank as an agent and specialist of SHIELD and later as one of the core members of the Avengers. After Thanos' snap, she is shown to be leading (or co-leading) what is left of the Avengers and coordinating their efforts across the planet and beyond it in the five years half their population is missing.

ADAPTIVE She is fluent in Latin, Russian, English, French, German, Chinese, and various other languages. She’s an effective strategist, tactician, and field commander. She has extensive skill with technology and hacking, as shown in Iron Man 2 and Captain America 2 The Winter Soldier. In Avengers, she is the only one of the team to figure out and use the Chitauri weapons and vehicles against them in the battle of New York.
