Yeah. Do you believe her? Could he actually be alive? Nat.

[ He doesn't have to even be in the same room as her to know that she knows exactly what's running through his head. ]

I don't know. I don't know how we can know, not here. If he is, he's been hiding damn well.

[ Which begs the question of why, and how she hadn't heard any whispers of it. She'd known there were still power struggles rising and falling in the remnants of what had been SHIELD, but she'd had her hands full with the Avengers. And there'd never once been a whisper of Coulson - that would have gotten her attention faster than anything. ]

She believes it, regardless.

Really well. Though if anyone can do that, he can. A heads up would have been nice though.

[Not spending the last three years thinking he was responsible for the death of a good friend would have been even nicer.]

Not that I want to take her word for it but she does seem convinced. She knows things about him.
